Bishops Place, Bromley
Galliard Homes has submitted a planning application to Bromley Council for the former Bromley Civic Centre site.
This proposal allows an opportunity to deliver a new mixed-use thriving neighbourhood, which we have now named Bishops Place, in Bromley town centre.
Our plans will:
- Include new areas of open space and public realm that will integrate with and enhance the existing Bromley Palace Park
- Provide much needed new homes in the town centre
- Prioritise sustainability and reduce embodied carbon with the re-use of all viable buildings
- Repurpose and secure the future for the listed Old Palace building
We are committed to engaging with the local community and key stakeholders to create a strong identity and sense of belonging.
Our planning application is currently being considered by Bromley Council. If you support the plans, you can send an email of support to the council by clicking here.
Designed with the community
We have been committed to undertaking impactful engagement with the local community and key stakeholders to inform the proposals as they form.
Our public consultation was live from Monday 9 June until Sunday 29 June 2025, where members of the public were able to view our proposals and provide their feedback.
As part of our consultation, we held two public exhibition events, where residents were able to attend and ask questions to the project team. These events took place on:
- Saturday 14 June, 10:30am – 2pm
- Tuesday 17 June, 3pm – 7pm
We received over 100 responses during the consultation period, with many people providing very helpful feedback, which has helped us shape the planning application.
