Our vision for the site
Our vision is to create a new thriving neighbourhood and residential-led mixed development that will secure a new use for the Old Palace and enhance the existing Palace Park. Our plans ensure new and existing buildings harmonise in scale and orientation.

The image above shows our masterplan for the site. Below you can see a plan showing the publicly-accessible ground floor of the refurbished Old Palace building.
Key aspects of the proposals include:

224 new homes, spread across seven buildings with a mixture of one, two, and three bedroom apartments

Provision of affordable housing

Provision of 37 later living homes with a connection to Bromley Palace Park and tranquil outdoor spaces

Public access to the ground floor of the Old Palace

New routes and connections through the site including more legible pedestrian links to Bromley Palace Park

A series of connected public open spaces and public realm

The provision of play areas, nature gardens and meeting spaces

Preservation of existing trees and significant new planting to enhance biodiversity across the Site

Buildings that are sensitively designed to respect the setting of The Old Palace
The masterplan focuses on delivering much needed homes, including affordable housing and options for later living. It prioritises creating new public spaces, connections, and routes, implementing exemplary sustainability measures, and reusing existing buildings to deliver public benefits.
